RIO GRANDE CITY a€" Antonia G. Carrion, 89, passed peacefully into eternal rest and into the arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 31, 2014. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Salome Garcia and Francisca Ramon on February 17, 1925.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Santos Carrion Sr., parents, and her brothers: Leonel, Lorenzo Garcia, Romeo Trevino, and a son-in-law, Eladio Bermudez Sr.
She is survived by children: Santos "Frances" Carrion, Teodoro Carrion, Santiago "Maria Leticia" Carrion, Samuel Carrion, Tomasita C. "Odilon "Carrera, Adelmina "Rolando" Bermudez, Idolina Camargo, Josefina "Pedro" Lopez, Brothers: Rene Trevino, Rafael Trevino, Sisters: Rafaela Guerra, Paula Garcia, Margarita Garza, and 23 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren.
