Abel Ramiro Olivarez " Ramey"

Abel R Olivarez, 69, passed away peacefully at RGC Nursing Home and Rehab in Rio Grande City, TX on November 24, 2022.

He was born in 1953 to Antonio Olivarez Sr† and Elodia Barbosa† in Rio Grande City, TX.  He is preceded in death by his loving parents and also his sister, Lorenza O. Treviño†, and his brother, Gustavo Olivarez Sr† (Elena Olivarez).  He is survived by his siblings, Antonio Olivarez Jr (Rafaela Olivarez†), Sofia O. Wade (Larry Wade Sr†), Santiago Olivarez Sr (Olga Olivarez†), Elva O. Morin (Ruperto Morin), and Elodia O. Perez (Pedro Perez Jr).  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family whom he loved dearly.  He will be greatly missed by all his family.  Gone but not forgotten.  Forever in our hearts.  RIP, Ramey.
