Blas Garcia Sr.

     Blas Garcia Sr., 81, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018, at his residence in Rio Grande City. He is preceded in death by his wife, Alma G. Garcia. He is survived by his two sons and two daughters: Blas Garcia Jr. (Sandra) Eduardo P. Garcia, Maricelis Garcia, and Marta G. Martinez (+Rodolfo Martinez). Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Erik Garcia, Ricardo Garcia, Lenny Garcia, Reynaldo Villarreal, Romeo Ortiz, and Derek Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers will be Leonardo Garcia and Trey Garcia.

        Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm, and Wednesday from 8:00 am to 9:45 am.  His Funeral Mass will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rio Grande City at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow at Rio Grande City Cemetery.  All funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sanchez Funeral Home of Rio Grande City.
