Daniel "Danny" Alberto Gomez Jr

Daniel Alberto Gomez Jr. "Danny" 20 years old of Rio Grande City, TX. passed away on September 21, 2016 in Edinburg, TX.

Danny was born in McAllen, Texas to Daniel A Gomez and Elsa Uribe Gomez on December 01, 1995. He went to Rio Grande City High School and graduated in 2014. He was currently attending UTRGV. He was involved in UTRGV's Criminal Justice Student Association and Knights of Columbus (4th Degree). He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros and San Antonio Spurs fan.

Danny is survived by his parents Daniel & Elsa U. Gomez, sister Lizette, brother Dennis and nephew Gerardo Portillo III. His maternal grandmother Dora Bosquez and paternal grandparents Gustavo & Diana
Belinda T Gomez, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be godparents Jorge Bazan, Hector Saenz, uncles Hector Bosquez, Mike Pena, Raul Omar Gomez, Jorge Luis Gomez, Eli Aaron Gomez and Victor Beltran.

Visitation will be held at Sanchez Funeral Home on Saturday September 24, 2016 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Sunday September 25, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm on both days.

Funeral mass will be held Monday September 26, 2016 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Deacon R.C. Salinas officiating. Burial will follow at St John Cemetery. Arrangements are, under the direction of Sanchez Funeral Home.
