Dora R. Canales

Mrs. Dora R. Canales passed on February 18, 2019, at Mission Regional Hospital, Mission, TX.
A former survivor Veteran Spouse of S. Sgt. Luciano Canales, III. a descendant of Spanish settlers at Salineno, Buena Vista and other Ranches in La Sacatosa Grant in Starr County, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents Reynaldo Ramirez and Ninfa Munoz and her daughter Maria Graciela "Gracie" Canales. 
Dora Canales was 82yrs young and embarked in a lifelong dream with her late husband operating and "energy experimenting" with various agricultural methods to make the Family Ranch Productive.
She is survived by her children and an abundant three generations of family heritage David R. Canales,  Nelda D. Canales, Sylvia S. Canales, Dora L. Hazelwood. Grand Daughter Caregivers Linda Lee, Nelda Ann, and her daughter Nelda D. Canales who support for comfort, love, and long term care hospitality.  
A special thank you, who's special to her heart and who assist every step to support this journey through every milestone. 
You will always be remembered.  
Celebration: Wedding Anniversary February 14, 1957 
Viewing will start today, Friday, February 22, 2019, from 2 pm - 9 pm, with a Rosary at 7 pm.  Her Funeral Mass will be at 10 am Saturday, February 23, 2019,  at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in Roma, TX.  Interment will follow at Roma City Cemetery.  All arrangements are under the care of Sanchez Memorial Funeral Home of Roma, TX.
