Eden Guerra was born on December 29, 1940 and was called back to our Dear, Heavenly Lord on December 21, 2025. Eden was born to Arnulfo Guerra and Paulita Guerra in Fronton, Texas. He was one of six children in his family. Eden attended school and graduated from Roma I.S.D. Eventually he decided to join the United States Army. He was in Battery C 1st Battalion 81st Artillery. In his time in the military, he got to experience other parts of the world.
After his service he returned to his hometown of Roma, Texas where he would eventually meet the love of his life, Maria Elia, who was from nearby Rio Grande City. On December 16, 1978 they married and started their life together. Soon they welcomed their daughter, Maria Idolina (Dolly) and a couple of years later they welcomed their son, Eden Jr. Throughout their years together they made many happy memories. They were especially happy when they welcomed their granddaughter, Alyna Lynn. She brought much joy into their lives.
Eden was a loving and hardworking person. He was a jack of all trades. If there was anything that needed fixing, he would do it. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needed help. Although he sometimes looked like a quiet person his family saw the playful and loving side of him. He took tremendous care of his family and was always there for them. He was a great example of what a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother and uncle should be. Our hearts are broken for such a loss but to have had him for as long as we did was a beautiful blessing. Heaven’s gain is our loss. God willing one day we will meet again.
Eden is survived by his loving wife, Maria Elia, his children, Maria Idolina (Dolly), and Eden Jr., his granddaughter, Alyna Lynn, along with his siblings, Roberto Guerra (Edna), Luz Maria Canales (Leo), Juan Ramon Guerra (Blanca), and Tomas Guerra (Juanita), as well as numerous nieces, and nephews whom he loved as well. May our Dear, Heavenly Father have him in His most loving embrace.
