Elena 92, a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully to be with our Lord. She died surrounded by her family on January 31, 2023. Elena is proceeded in death by her son Jose (Raque) Garza & her grandson Danny Garza. She is survived by her sons, Jose Rene (Norma) Garza, Ruben Garza Jr, her daughter Olga G. (Leo) Lopez. Her pride and joy her grandchildren & numerous precious great grandchildren whom she adored.
Elena devoted her life to her family.
She was a loyal true catholic, always had a strong Faith and a kind heart these were characteristics of her strong Family Values. Elenita was also known for her sweet big smile.
Elenita as everyone knew her proudly worked for 30 years with the RGCCISD at Roque Guerra Elementary. She touched many young life’s. She retired with over 25 years ago and later moved to Mission to be closer with family.
She will forever be remembered as being loving and caring.
She will deeply be missed by her family & friends.
“Ama Forever in our Hearts”.
 
A Special Thanks to Dr. Jose Vasquez, Dr James Castillo/DHR & to her caregiver Celia González for her many years of dedication & loyalty to our Mom.
