Emilia Villarreal

An incredible woman, Emilia “Lety” Leticia Villarreal has sadly passed away on March 23 rd , 2023 at the
age of 65 surrounded by her family. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we
needed her. She loved her children and grandchildren so much, they were her pride and joy. She also
had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Rio Grande City, Tx.
She was preceded in death by her beautiful mother Emilia Lorenza Garza, her dear brother Thomas
Adams her loving husband Jose Villarreal Jr. and her adoring son Jose Andres Villarreal Jr.
Lety is survived by her brother Leoncio Ricardo Salinas, her son Ricardo Ivan Villarreal, & wife Yvette
with their children Joe Gabriel, Steven Ezekiel and Violet Angelina. Ricardo’s eldest son, Leoncio Ivan
Villarreal & his wife Xiomara and Emilia’s only great-granddaughter Ximena. Her Daughter Teresa Isabel
Esquivel, & her husband Gabriel with their two children Olivia Gabriella, and Evelyn June. Her son
Andres’ surviving wife Erica Vela Villarreal and daughter Isabela Mia.
Services will be held on Sunday March 26th , 2023 at Sanchez Funeral Home from 1:00pm-8:00pm with
Mass & Funeral services to follow on Monday March 27th , 2023 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception
Church. Everyone is welcome.
