Rio Grande City-Epifanio (Pipo) Martinez Jr, a long time resident of Rio Grande City entered eternal rest at the age of 82, on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at McAllen Heart Hospital in McAllen, Texas.



He is survived by his wife Rosa O. Martinez; two daughters Norma Elizondo, Sandra (Bobby) Saenz: two sons, Carlos Eli Martinez, (+) George Luis Martinez: one brother, Raymond Martinez: one sister

(+) Martha Gutierrez: and 4 grandchildren.



Viewing will begin today, October 24, 2013 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a rosary will be resited at 7 p.m. at Sanchez Funeral Home in Rio Grande City.



A mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on October 25, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Church in Rio Grande City. Burial will follow at Rio Grande City Cemetery. Sanchez Funeral Home of Rio Grande City is in charge of arrangements.
