Eugenio Franco Ramirez

Eugenio Franco partió a la presencia del Señor el 20 de noviembre de 2025 a la edad de 71 años. Eugenio nació el 24 de octubre de 1954 en Agualeguas, Nuevo León, hijo de María de los Ángeles Ramírez y Eugenio Franco Garza.

Se estableció en Chicago, donde trabajó en la compañía de gas de la ciudad y dirigió cuadrillas de distribución y seguridad de gas durante 30 años. A lo largo de su vida, le gustaba cantar y compartir su conocimiento de la música ranchera y bolero mexicana. Era conocido por ser ingenioso, por su gran capacidad narrativa y por su amor a su familia y a Dios.

A Eugenio le sobreviven su amada esposa Margot, sus hijos José (Verónica), Margot (Rigoberto), Daisy (Epifanio) y Rubén (Cielo); sus nietos Andrea, Emiliano, Juliana, Matteo y Rigoberto Marin. Sus padres le precedieron en muerte.

Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo el 25 de noviembre de 2025 de 2 p.m. a 8 p.m. en la Funeraria Sánchez en Roma, Tx. Se llevará a cabo un servicio religioso el 26 de noviembre de 2025 a las 11 a.m. en la Parroquia de la Purísima Concepción de Agualeguas Nuevo León y el sepelio seguirá en Panteón Agualeguas. Amigos y seres queridos están invitados a asistir y compartir el recuerdo de una vida bien vivida.

La familia encuentra consuelo al saber que Eugenio ahora descansa en la amorosa presencia de nuestro Salvador, como lo prometió en Juan 14:1–3: “En la casa de mi Padre muchas moradas hay…”

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Eugenio Franco, who went home to be with the Lord on November 20, 2025 at the age of 71.

Eugenio was born on October 24, 1954 in Agualeguas, Nuevo León to María de los Angeles Ramirez and Eugenio Franco Garza. He went on to make his life in Chicago, working at the city's gas company and leading crews in gas delivery and safety for over 30 years. Throughout life, he was known for his quick wit, his deep passion and knowledge of Mexican ranchera and bolero music and classic cars, his wonderful storytelling ability, and his love for his family and for God.

Eugenio is survived by his loving wife Margot, his children Jose (Veronica), Margot (Rigoberto), Daisy (Epifanio), and Ruben (Cielo); his grandchildren Andrea, Emiliano, Juliana, Matteo, and Rigoberto Marin. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held on November 25, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Sanchez Funeral Home in Roma, Tx. A church service will take place on November 26, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Parroquia de la Purísima Concepción de Agualeguas Nuevo León with the burial to follow at Panteón Agualeguas. Friends and loved ones are invited to attend and share in remembering a life well lived.

The family finds comfort in knowing that Eugenio is now resting in the loving presence of our Savior, as promised in John 14:1–3: “In my Father’s house are many rooms…”

Roma – Eugenio Franco Ramirez, age 71, passed away peacefully at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, on Thursday, November 20, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Sanchez Memorial Funeral in Roma, TX.
