Felipe Mario Garcia entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 13, 2015 with his family by his bedside. Felipe Mario was born on August 23, 1933, in Roma, Texas to Zaragosa Garcia and Paula Briones-Garcia.

Felipe Mario met and married the love of his life Maria Delia Munoz, his loving and devoted wife of 54 years. Together they had five children Francisco, Benito, Dora, Elisa and Felipe Jr. Felipe Mario was a very caring, loving and hardworking man who dedicated his life to his family.

He was preceded by his wife, Maria Delia, his parents and four brothers. He is survived by his five children, 15 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his 2 sisters.

Serving as pall bearers will be his grandsons: Francisco, Luis, Benito, Geronimo, Jesus, Robert, Josue, and Aaron while the honorary pall bearers will be his granddaughters: Clarissa, Mayra, Amanda, Kimberly, Lyana, Vanessa and Victoria.

On behalf of the Garcia Munoz Family, special thanks to all his doctors, private caregivers, nurses, CNAs and administration of the Rio Grande City Nursing, Rehabilitation Center and U.S. Renal Services for their devoted care. His family is eternally grateful to all his family and friends for the love and support during his lengthy illness.

Viewing will be on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with The Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Holy Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Los Saenz Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Los Saenz Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sanchez Memorial Funeral Home in Roma Texas.
