Guadalupe Flores

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Guadalupe Flores, a remarkable man whose life was a beautiful testament to love, family, and steadfast devotion. Born on August 13, 1947, in Ciudad Mier, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Guadalupe spent his final days at his residence in Roma, Texas, peacefully departing this world on June 3, 2026.

Guadalupe was truly a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, uncle. His gentle spirit and caring nature touched all who had the privilege of knowing him. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family—his most treasured joy was being surrounded by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sharing moments filled with laughter and love.

A man of diverse interests, Guadalupe had a profound love for tending to pigs and other animals at his home, nurturing them with the same dedication and care he bestowed upon his family. This connection with nature and life around him was a reflection of his nurturing heart and grounded soul.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Ma. Olivia Flores; his loving sons, Roberto (Maria Del Carmen) Flores, Rosbel (Cynthia) Flores, and Cirilo Flores; his cherished daughters, Olivia (Marcelo) Flores and Odilia (Rolando) Flores; his dear brother, Abel Flores; and his sisters, Elva Flores, Estela Flores, Edelma Flores, and Emma Flores. Together, they carry forward Guadalupe’s legacy of love, resilience, and kindness.

Guadalupe was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Cirilo Flores and Ramona Rios Flores, whose memories live on through him and his family.

The outpouring of love and respect for Guadalupe will be held at Sanchez Memorial Funeral Home, located at 101 AR Sanchez Sr. Dr., Roma, TX. Visitation will take place on June 4, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM, including a Rosary at 6:00 PM. The following day, June 5, 2026, a second visitation will begin at 8:00 AM until 10:45 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Sagrado Corazon de Jesus, 4987 Old Escobares Hwy 83, Roma, TX.

As we remember Guadalupe Flores, we recall a man who lived with an open heart, whose love for his family and the animals he cared for reflected a life well-lived. Though he has left us, his spirit remains—etched in the hearts of those who loved him and in the embrace of the family he so deeply treasured.

May Guadalupe find eternal peace, and may his family find comfort in the loving memories he leaves behind.
