IN LOVING MEMORY OF Guadalupe "Lupita” Lopez

Guadalupe "Lupita" López was born on May 24, 1936, in Falfurrias, Texas, to the Garza family. She shared a lifetime of love and devotion with her beloved husband, Luis Lisandro López.

Following retirement, Lupita and her beloved husband returned to their home at El Rucio Ranch in Rio Grande City, where they had begun their life together and where they found lasting joy, peace, and the comfort of home.

Lupita's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a loving and devoted mother, cherished tía, grandmother to 10 grandchildren, and proud great-grandmother to 26 great-grandchildren. Her home was filled with love, warmth, and kindness, and she always welcomed others with an open heart.

One of 11 siblings, Lupita was known for her strength, compassion, and selfless love. Her gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her, and her legacy will continue through the family she loved so deeply.

SHE IS LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY HER CHILDREN:

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Luis López Jr. and her beloved husband, Luis Lisandro López.

Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that her love, wisdom, and beautiful spirit will remain with us always.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
