Iris Guerra

Iris M. Guerra, 53, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother Guadalupe Gonzalez and aunt Armandina Vera.

Iris is survived by her husband of 34 years, Billy; her son, William; her mother Gloria (Simon) Garza; 14 nieces and nephews; her brothers David Garza (Suzie Menchaca), Daniel (Nancy) Garza, and Dario (LaToya) Garza;

The burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Roma Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions to The Laurie P. Andrews PAWS Center.

Sanchez Funeral Home of Rio Grande City is in charge of arrangements.
