Jesus “Cuate” Maria Rodriguez, 77, died on February 28, 2024, in the comfort of his home in Rio Grande City, TX. He was born July 26, 1946, in San Francisco Tamaulipas, the son of Jacinto and Crisanta (Falcon) Rodriguez.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Elodia (Sendejo) Rodriguez, and twin brother, Jose “Prieto” Maria Rodriguez. He is survived by his children, San Juanita Rodriguez (Miguel), Jose Antonio Rodriguez (Silvestra), Mario Alberto Rodriguez, Jesus Rodriguez (Roberta), and stepson, Elbert Ferrer (Christine); brother, Omar Rodriguez; sister, Nidia Montoya (Heriberto); 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Sanchez Funeral Home in Rio Grande City, TX from 1:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at San Pablo Apostol Catholic Church, in the community of La Puerta, in Rio Grande City, TX.
