Leonel Solis

We are saddened by the passing away of Mr. Leonel Gil Solis, 87, on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at his residence in La Victoria, Texas. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of +Martin and +Manuelita Gil-Solis. He is survived by his loving wife, Esmeralda Solis and their children: Javier Solis, Marivel Solis-Bazan, Maria Elena (Rudy) Ybarra, Melinda (Jeremy Encina) Solis and Melissa Solis. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family.

The Solis-Flores Family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of his life. Sanchez Funeral Home in Rio Grande City, Texas is in charge of funeral arrangements. Viewing will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sanchez Funeral Home. Church services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church in La Grulla, Texas. Interment will follow at L & E Cemetery in La Victoria, Texas.
