Lucinda L. Gonzalez was born on January 23, 1941, in Rio Grande City, Texas. She passed away on September 23, 2026, at Mission Nursing and Rehab Center in Mission, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elias+ and Guadalupe Lopez+, and her brother, Elias Lopez Jr+, and her baby, Ramiro Gonzalez Jr+. Lucinda leaves behind a loving family who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts. She is survived by her loving husband, Ramiro Cristobal Gonzalez Sr., and her loving children, David (Erica) Gonzalez, Ramiro (Sylvia) Gonzalez Jr., Roberto (Minerva) Gonzalez, and her 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters, Emma (Guadalupe+) Sauceda, Zulema (Enrique) Medrano, Guadalupe (Lucio+) Flores, and numerous nieces and nephews, along with many loved ones who shared in her life and will treasure her memory always. Her passing brings sorrow to those who knew and loved her, while her memory remains a lasting blessing to her family. May her family find comfort in the love they shared with her and in the memories that will remain with them always. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sanchez Funeral Home, with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. A second visitation will take place on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Sanchez Funeral Home. A Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Los Gracias. Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Rio Grande City Cemetery.
