Maria "Fita" Josefa Reyna

Maria Josefa "Fita" (Gonzalez) Reyna died peacefully at her residence in Rio Grande City, TX on February 24, 2020, at the age of 91. She was born on August 27, 1928, in Rio Grande City, TX to Encarnacion and Eluteria Pineda Gonzalez. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Elias Reyna, her son-in-law Juan Rosa Jr, and siblings Quirino (Olivia +) Gonzalez, Antonio (Ester +), Encarnacion (Adelfa +) Lorenzo (Dolores+), Ascencion (Genievive+), Gilberto (Alicia) Gonzalez, Eva G. (Antonio+) Pena, Irene (Reynaldo+) Olivarez, Teresa (Fermin +) Garza. She is survived by her daughter Anna R. Rosa, sons Elias Reyna Jr. and Rene R. Reyna. Her grandchildren Juan Rosa III, Ashley (Roel) Garcia, Gabriel (Cindy) Rosa, Reanna R. Reyna, and Romeo R. Reyna. Her great-grandchildren Carlos D. Rosa, Jennisa Rosa, Roel Romeo Garcia III, and Ariella Rose Garcia. Her sister Socorro Garcia and sister-in-law Alicia Gonzalez. As well as, numerous nieces and nephews. We are sincerely most grateful for her caregivers Arcelia Chela Landa, Elizabeth Ortiz, and Susana Ramos Villanueva.
