She is survived by her loving husband George Perez of Escobares Texas, her five grown children, four brothers, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her mother Francisca S. Sanchez. Sandra was inspiration to many and will be remembered as a champion of resiliency, and for her never-ending nurturing spirit. She was a loving mother who always provided for her family. In her vocation as nurse she cared for the people of Starr County's hospital, nursing home, schools, and home health. We celebrate her life and honor her memory by moving forward with love and dignity.
