Thomas Arthur Villarreal

Thomas (Tommy) Arthur Villarreal Jr., aged 55, passed away on August 21, 2023, at Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance Edinburg, Texas, after a courageous battle with neck cancer.

Tommy, born on August 7, 1968, grew up in San Isidro, Texas, and graduated from San Isidro High School in 1986.  He went on to attend Pan American University in Edinburg, Texas.  He lived a happy life ranching and raising livestock.

He is survived by his daughter Camila Villarreal and wife Lisa Huerta, and  sisters, Anita Lopez of Laredo, Texas, and Deborah Villarreal of Pharr, Texas.  He also had two nieces, (Vanessa and Kalena) and a nephew (Joseph Lopez).  He was preceded in death by his parents, Tomas A. Villarreal and Linda Karen Clanton, paternal grandparents, Tomas Villarreal Saenz and Crisanta Garza Villarreal, maternal grandparents, Granville Hall Clanton and Holly Royalty Valdez.
